Event Update - Covid-19
UXcampAMS20 Postponed
By now, many of you will be aware of the advice and guidance provided by the Dutch government in relation to COVID-19 (Corona virus). Public events with more than 100 attendees are prohibited as a precautionary measure. This restriction is in place until (at least) 31st March 2020.
What does this mean for UXcampAMS20?
Due to the timelines and uncertainties around the restriction on public events, we are unable to confidently say that our event will continue as planned on April 4th, We have no way of knowing if the ban will extended or if the containment measures will have reached their objectives by the end of March. Therefore, we can confirm that UXcampAMS20 will not be taking place on 4th April 2020.
In the coming days, we will be working with our event partners and sponsors to seek their input on the most logical steps for UXcampAMS20. Our initial aim is to postpone the event until after the summer.
What do I do with my Ticket?
For now, we’d advise you to do nothing. We, as an organising team will meet tomorrow (13th March) to discuss this further and advise accordingly once we have more information. Tickets will remain valid for our re-scheduled event.
How do I keep Up to Date?
Please follow us on Twitter and, if you already had a ticket, keep an eye on your Inbox as these will be our primary communication channels during this period.
We strive to put on high-quality events in a safe and welcoming environment and we’d like to thank you for your understanding on this matter. This is a message that we have been mentally preparing for a few weeks, yet hoped we’d never have to publish.
We hope to bring you some positive news soon.
